NHS Clinical Commissioners (NHSCC) is looking for an enthusiastic, organised and creatively minded policy professional to join us as a Senior Policy Officer.
NHSCC is a fast-paced member driven organisation, with over 90% of all Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in membership. We are a member driven organisation and committed to delivering programmes of work that are shaped and developed by our members, and reflecting their priorities and expertise.
The role:
Working to the Head of Policy and Delivery you will be part of a small but dynamic team and be expected to provide day to day policy and project support, including:
- Planning, researching and drafting content for high quality publications, statements, consultation responses, events, and member communications
- Scoping key data, statistics and qualitative research on topics relevant to our policy priorities, and briefing colleagues on this as needed
- Engaging with a number of key stakeholders including NHSCC members, health bodies and government departments
- Support the development of content to progress the work programmes of a number of NHSCC’s member networks and specific issues for clinical commissioning.
We are looking for someone with proven policy experience, is self-motivated, has excellent communication skills and strong analytical skills. Ideally you will have an understanding and interest in the current policy environment for CCGs.
