Salary: £29,663.76 (gross)per annum with an annual fixed sum allowance of £1,841 and a car allowance of £4200

The Labour Party are looking to recruit a number of Community Organisers to work as part of the Labour Party across the UK.

The post holders will be part of a community organising taskforce in communities working with community leaders and labour party members to build a sustainable coalition to affect and deliver social change.

1. Scotland (3 x across the nation)
2. West Midlands Region( Initially based in Stoke)
3. South East Region ( Initially based in Hasting)
4. Yorkshire & Humber Region ( Initially based in Shipley)
5. East Midlands Region ( Initially based in Mansfield)

The post-holders should have the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders, community groups and groups who share Labour values, a knowledge of community based campaigning and wider organising methods. They should also have the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision and to deliver work to agreed deadlines.
