We are looking for an individual to join us as a Campaigner, developing and delivering effective plans to recruit and deepen the engagement of our supporters who campaign for us in two important areas for us - children’s campaigning and digital aquisition.
As Campaigner you will initially work across two areas of mobilisation. One will be children’s campaigning where we are looking to grow the network of schools that we are working with as part of our priority to become a campaigning movement for, and with, children, and the other will be digital campaigning with a focus on helping to acquire new supporters to join our digital movement to secure change for children.

In addition you will:

• Support the thematic campaigns in the development of campaign plans, activities and evaluations to win change
• Make a significant contribution to the development and delivery of Save the Children’s long-term campaign strategies

To be successful you will have a strong understanding of effective campaigning with experience as a campaigner and a track record of campaigning activity. The ability to influence a variety of stakeholders and work cross organisationally as an effective team member is essential, as is experience of working with communities of supporters to achieve campaign objectives. In addition you will have:

• An understanding of campaign communications, including how to develop effective supporter journeys, and engage a range of audiences, including experience of working with young people.
• A demonstrable understanding of the external environment and the ability to assess trends and developments likely to affect campaigning and mobilisation
• The ability to collaborate with other campaigners, convening others to work together to deliver agreed outcomes
• Excellent communications and writing skills, and the ability to tailor written and verbal communications to a wide range of different audiences.
