Our client is an international, award winning, integrated communications consultancy which is experiencing a sustained period of growth. It boasts an impressive set of blue chip clients including instantly recognisable global brands; from FTSE 100 property giants, and pioneering industrial and energy companies, to much loved high street retailers, and influential financial firms, among many others. Working collaboratively across their UK & international network and utilising expertise in corporate & capital markets.

This role will work in one of the industry’s top ranked teams and will take on high profile property, public affairs, planning and policy challenges. It will deliver high level strategic and tactical advice to engage key stakeholders in government, regulatory bodies before gaining national, regional and trade recognition in the media and consulting with local stakeholders. This role will enjoy excellent client exposure and act as a real consultant and advisor, while also being able to build more commercial skills when supporting new business.

Responsibilities, skills & attributes for the role:
• Work with Partners and wider team to develop and implement PR strategies, programmes and campaigns for clients
• Manage and lead on day-to-day client servicing; giving robust advice with confidence
• Identify story opportunities for clients, and flag these to the client with recommendations
• Develop and practise strong writing skills, covering press releases, blogs, by-lined articles and online collateral
• Demonstrate an awareness of key social media platforms and how they can be used for PR purposes
• Understanding of trends in the sector and be an authoritative source of information on national/local government policy as it impacts your clients
• Mentor and manage juniors

Ideal candidates will be bright, ambitious and politically engaged, displaying a good academic record coupled with past public affairs, policy, stakeholder/community engagement, planning or corporate communications experience gained in a reputable agency, or coupled with in-house experience. Knowledge of the property sector is particularly prized but other regulated industries such as infrastructure/industrials, energy/utilities, transport and retail sectors would be valuable.
