The Royal Town Planning Institute is the UK's leading planning body for spatial, sustainable and inclusive planning and is the largest planning institute in Europe with over 25,000 members. It also campaigns for the use of the art and science of town planning for the public benefit and on housing, economic and environmental issues.
Urban planning is currently a highly topical subject with ongoing media discussion of housing, high speed rail, green belts and the probity and purpose of the planning system. We are looking for an enthusiastic assistant with a wide ranging interest in urban planning and related fields to support our Policy and Research team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to support the RTPI Research Awards 2018, attend conferences and events and contribute to the Working in the Public Interest Research Programme.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to undertake administrative tasks, produce department specific content for online platforms, lead on specific projects and work with competing deadlines.
