Reporting to the Head of Group, the Policy Adviser (or Principal Policy Adviser, depending on experience) will be responsible for developing rigorous, evidence-based arguments and policy recommendations that respond to CBI member needs. The post holder will be expected to engage with senior business representatives, politicians and government officials and, through their work, contribute to the CBI’s income.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the CBI’s work on innovation policy
• Work effectively with CBI members and colleagues across the business
• Maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders
