City and Westminster Property Associations (CPA & WPA) are sister membership bodies, which combined represent more than 400 of the leading owners, developers and investors of real estate across Central London, including five FTSE 100 and nine FTSE 250 companies. Our members’ interests account for approximately 85% of all major development in the Central Activities Zone.

CPA and WPA champion the built environment in Central London as a major driver for the economy of the UK. Our principal focus is engaging with planning and economic development policy in Central London and we maintain excellent working relationships with the City of London, Westminster City Council, neighbouring boroughs, the Mayor of London’s office and UK government.

The associations also organise a busy calendar of events for our membership, including breakfast policy briefings, roundtable discussions and evening networking events at the opening of Central London’s most exciting new commercial buildings.

The successful candidate needs to be highly organised, presentable and enthusiastic. They will learn from and support a busy but small team working across a wide and varied job remit, including event management, public relations, public affairs and stakeholder engagement.

The brand name for joint campaigns and activities of CPA and WPA is ‘London Property Alliance’. Certain events and policy areas the successful candidate will work on will be conducted under this name.

The candidate should be able to demonstrate the following qualities in their application:

• An interest in property issues and understanding of the political system
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Be ambitious and highly motivated
• Experience organising events would be advantageous
• Excellent IT skills: the candidate will be required to use WordPress and MailChimp, therefore experience in these would be favourable, but not essential.
