We are looking for a confident and dynamic Public Relations (PR) and Public Affairs (PA) Officer who is interested in engaging with the media and parliamentarians. This is an exciting role for a highly motivated and energetic individual who will have the opportunity to promote the charity’s work with national journalists and MPs, Lords and civil servants.

Young Enterprise is an ambitious charity that works with over 250,000 young people each year in schools, colleges and universities and from a diverse range of backgrounds - to help prepare them for the world of work and teach them about money. We are currently engaged with around one third of state secondary schools across the country, and have a particular focus on reaching and supporting young people from disadvantaged families.

This position will help to raise the profile of the charity with key influencers and decision makers, ensuring it remains an influential thought-leader on the education and skills young people need to make a successful transition from education to employment and be financially capable in later life. The role is supported as part of the busy PA+PR Team at Young Enterprise. The position will provide the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills essential to the PR and PA professional, including monitoring developments, drafting engaging content and briefing media and parliamentary stakeholders.
