Job Details

Crest Advisory is a small, vibrant consultancy based in Covent Garden – helping clients think, speak and act clearly within criminal justice. We work with central government, national policing bodies, police and crime commissioners, universities, NGOs and private companies, enabling them to achieve greater impact by marrying policy and technical insight with expertise in communication. Insightful, savvy and smart, we foster a culture of support and challenge and provide both our clients and each other with the best advice in the business.

Delivering strategic communications advice, research, analysis and policy development, we are a multi-disciplinary team who have worked across some of the biggest and most serious issues in the criminal justice arena.

Crest is a great place to work if you are looking for rewarding and important work. We thrive on working together, ensuring our judgement and clarity is never compromised. Together we make things happen and we look after each other too.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and collaborative person to join the Crest team as a policy and research analyst. You will have excellent written and communication skills and be able to understand and analyse complex information as it relates to policing and criminal justice.

The role will be varied and cover all aspects of criminal justice. You may be asked to analyse crime statistics or interrogate and interpret performance data to understand key trends across different public agencies in local areas; to write comprehensive briefings on topical issues related to criminal justice policy; or compile high-level reports communicating complex information to non-expert audiences. No day is the same, and an interest and curiosity about this area of policy are vital.

The role is likely to suit someone with experience of social policy work and/or knowledge of the criminal justice system, with a degree level qualification or relevant work experience, who is looking for an opportunity to develop their skills within a growing company.
