The Role

The Legion is seeking a talented, committed and enthusiastic public affairs and campaigns professional to join its highly effective Public Affairs and Public Policy team. You will help shape and carry out the Legion’s public affairs and campaigning activities at the national level, monitoring parliamentary developments and identifying opportunities to influence in order to secure positive policy change for the Armed Forces community. In collaboration with colleagues, you will also organise the Legion’s political engagement events and aid in the development and maintenance of the team’s network of campaign supporters.

You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Westminster politics and processes, and be familiar with both traditional and digital campaigning techniques. You will be a strong team player, highly organised, and have previous experience of delivering high quality events and campaign support. You will additionally have excellent communication and IT skills, and possess impeccable attention to detail.
