We’re looking for two exceptional candidates to work closely with the Deputy Director to lead our research team. The post-holders will help to plan, manage and communicate all strands of the Foundation’s research output, covering our work on the labour market, taxes and benefits, housing, skills, inequality and living standards. One of the roles will have an additional focus on driving the work of the Foundation’s new Macroeconomic Policy Unit.

These are high profile roles, and successful applicants will need experience of leading major research and / or policy programmes, and of line managing a team of high-performing researchers. The post-holders must also demonstrate a first-rate understanding of quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques, excellent written and communication skills, and the capacity to direct research that results in practical policy change.
