It's an exciting time to join the Public Affairs and Campaigns Team as we develop our new influencing strategy. You will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver campaigns and public affairs strategies on a range of high profile issues, as well as grow the support of Barnardo's network of campaign supporters.

You will co-ordinate project teams of staff across the UK as well as external agencies to deliver winning campaigns across a range of channels. You will work closely with young people to ensure that the people we are campaigning on behalf of are at the heart of everything we do.

You'll bring a strong understanding of legislative and parliamentary processes, as well as a track record of developing compelling campaigns that resonate with target audiences across paid, owned and earned media, using data and insights.

Knowledge of children's issues will be helpful, but more important is having a campaigner's mind-set, an eye for opportunties and a desire to be at the forefront of innovative campaigning techniques.
