The British Academy – the UK’s national academy for the humanities and social sciences – is seeking two Senior Policy Advisers (Public Policy) to provide expertise and strategic input into the framing and development of the public policy work programme.

The post holders will take a lead role in the development, design and delivery of specific public policy projects. This will include producing high quality policy outputs, organising events, undertaking analysis and background research as necessary and identifying and pursuing opportunities for engagement with external organisations and stakeholders.

The successful candidates will have significant experience of developing and delivering policy projects; be creative and strategic thinkers and have excellent written and oral communications skills. They will have a demonstrable understanding of the public policy landscape of UK. Experience in childhood/children’s policy and/or social integration and cohesion policy is desirable but not essential.
