The role:
The National Pharmacy Association is recruiting for a Policy and Public Affairs Officer. The role will include supporting the development of NPA policy positions, establishing and maintaining excellent relationships with NPA members and external stakeholders, supporting campaign activity by NPA members and promoting NPA policy and public affairs work to the membership.
Skills and experience:
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of working in Policy and/or Public Affairs, and previous experience of working with the healthcare sector would be beneficial. They will hold research and data analysis skills as well as:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong relationship building and influencing skills
• Excellent attention to detail in analysing documents, reports and legislation
• Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational skills
• Excellent research skills
• Customer service experience
• Problem solving skills
• Computer literate with all major Microsoft Office packages
