As managers of the seabed around England, Wales and Northern Ireland, The Crown Estate works closely with industry and stakeholders to identify sites for sustainable development and awards seabed rights for offshore renewable energy, as well as cables and pipelines and marine aggregates.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Energy, Minerals and Infrastructure portfolio and specifically supporting The Crown Estate’s work with the offshore wind sector and stakeholders to consider making new seabed rights available to offshore wind developers.
The successful candidate will develop and implement an integrated communications and engagement campaign to support our role in the offshore wind, through corporate communications, media, political and stakeholder engagement.
You will be part of the Public Affairs & Community team delivering excellent engagement and communications with stakeholders across The Crown Estate’s business portfolios as part of the Corporate Affairs strategy. Your experience will span a political, communications and/or campaigning environment from agency or in house, influencing and providing strategic advice to senior leaders.

You will have an excellent working knowledge of the media, Whitehall and Westminster and be able to build credible relationships quickly and have the motivation and passion for a high amount of individual responsibility. Experience in the energy sector and/or working to support large infrastructure projects is essential.
