The Conference Producer specialises in researching and developing forward thinking market research, content development and is responsible for the onsite delivery of the event. Collaboration with all other departments is central to this role, so strong project management skills and an ability to adapt to different situations are highly desirable.

You will be conducting in-depth primary and secondary research and organising the intellectual content of conference programs, reflecting timely business strategies for a variety of industries. You are responsible for drafting the conference agenda, brochure copywriting, inviting and confirming conference speakers and hosting the event. As Conference Producer you have a lot of budgetary control and you will be making financial decisions that will have significant bottom line impact.

The Conference Producer will be responsible for:

• Undertaking detailed phone research on specific conference topics with senior level business executives
• Developing the intellectual content of conference agendas based on results from the extensive research conducted
• Securing senior level speakers for each event
• Establishing and managing on-going relations with speakers and delegates
• Running and managing events onsite

Key skills required for a successful Conference Producer:

• A strong academic background in research based topics (Educated to degree level min. 2.1)
• Great planning, organizational and influencing skills
• High level verbal and written communication skills, previous telephone based experience would be advantageous
• Interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with and relate to all levels both within and outside the company
• Proven research and analytical skills
• Sound negotiation skills
• Strong project management and able to work to tight deadlines
