Job Details

Focus on Labour Exploitation (FLEX) works to end human trafficking for labour exploitation in the UK and worldwide. FLEX’s unique approach to tackling modern slavery focuses on upholding workers’ rights and preventing the labour abuses that can lead to exploitation. We believe that empowering all workers to access their rights, and holding unscrupulous employers accountable for abuse, goes a long way toward combatting exploitative practices that can lead to modern slavery.

In the last five years, FLEX has become a leading voice in the field of trafficking for labour exploitation, working closely with key stakeholders and decision-makers. We work together with frontline and community organisations to make sure our advocacy reflects the needs of those experiencing exploitation.

We are looking for an energetic, hard-working individual to join our small team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape FLEX's communications strategy and to contribute to a growing and impactful organisation. You will work to generate interest to FLEX’s message and work, and to ensure that our research gains media traction and reaches new audiences. You will help build FLEX’s communications network and work closely with key journalists, acting as the media contact for FLEX. You will use your excellent storytelling skills to share the stories of those affected by forced labour and exploitation and to foster change in this field.

At FLEX you will be a part of a supportive team, benefit from flexible working and from a wide range of opportunities for skills development. If you are passionate about promoting social justice, apply to join our team!
