Job Details

The Conservative Christian Fellowship exists to serve Christians within the Conservative Party and to act as a bridge between Christian Charities, Church Denominations and the political world.

The CCF is based at Conservative Campaign HQ. Our members include Conservative voters, Party Members, Conservative MPs, Councillors and Peers. The CCF has members all over the UK.

This role would suit anyone with a passion for politics and who believes in linking the life and work of Christians and Christian organisations with the world of Westminster.

The key task of the Supporter Relations and Accounts Coordinator is to manage and grow the relationship between the CCF and its supporters. Main responsibilities are to grow our supporter base while maintaining records and conducting basic financial record keeping.

This role would particularly suit a motivated and numerate self-starter who will rise to the challenge of helping a small not-for-profit organisation streamline and improve its supporter care and financial procedures.

Working as part of a small team you will have the opportunity to contribute to our full range of exciting events and political activities as well as autonomy to deliver your core task of ensuring our supporters are looked after and our transactions are recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of the Supporter Database: Including data input, data extraction, keeping up to date on legal changes in data protection and direct contact with the CCF Board to implement future database solutions.
  • Book Keeping: To keep accurate financial records collated on a monthly basis including a monthly reconciliation between direct debits and the database. To assist the Board with the submission of Companies House filings.
  • Membership Servicing: Excellent customer service skills in welcoming new supporters, in encouraging an increase in financial support and in responding to supporter enquiries from website, email or telephone. Taking a proactive approach in making contact with new supporters and in communications contributions to the CCF website, e-newsletter and social media.
  • Contribution to the team: To engage with initiative and passion in the wider work of the CCF including helping the Events Coordinator deliver monthly events in Parliament and a whole suite of fringe events at Autumn Party Conference.

Closing Date: 21 May 2018
