We are looking to fill the role of an experienced political and public policy (3+ years experience) consultant to provide support to our EU team dealing predominantly with the food and nutrition policy.

This post is based in London. However, this position involves travel to Brussels and other European locations.

The successful candidate will lead on tasks allocated for specific clients following discussions with the Senior Consultant, work with the Senior Consultant and client lead to establish long term strategic approach and support on the delivery of the agreed strategy, provide regular feedback and updates to the client lead and line manager, and liaise with the monitoring and intelligence gathering team to provide constant and timely updates to clients on points of relevance and interest. The role would also entail providing support with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including those coming from Britain’s departure from the EU.

The successful candidate would ideally have a legal background and experience of working in the food and nutrition sector.

Please note that previous EU public affairs experience, such as working for an MEP, in an in-house policy or campaigning role, a trade association or for another agency, is essential.
