This new organisation will offer a range of support for charities, social action groups and community organisations among others. The hub aims to offer three key functions: information (data and intelligence on civil society across London), networking (supporting civil society engagement and collaboration) as well as a voice and influence (increasing the influence and representation of civil society in policy and regional planning). As part of this we are recruiting several new posts for the organisation.

  • Data and Intelligence Coordinator – £36,000, full-time
  • Networks Partner – £36,000, full-time
  • Employment and Skills Policy Lead – £35,000, pro rata 4 days a week
  • Hub Coordinator – £28,000, full-time

The roles will be part of an exciting and high-profile organisation that builds on a wider programme of work in place across London called The Way Ahead. The roles will have close ties with local and regional infrastructure groups, local authorities, London Councils, the GLA, London Funders and others and it aims to champion the role of civil society as part of the vital infrastructure for the region. These roles will ensure that the hub delivers its strategic plan, supercharging civil society across London.

You will be innovative and entrepreneurial with experience from networking and relationship building roles. With a clear understanding of civil society and its contribution to supporting outcomes for Londoners. We require people who have great collaboration and partnership skills who will work with the diversity of civil society groups across London, with a clear commitment to, and track record of, inclusion and equalities, you will be values-led and highly motivated by the importance of civil society.
