Brevia Consulting is a full service public affairs agency. The Consultancy operates in London, Brussels, Edinburgh, Cardiff, and Belfast. Our modern office is located within walking distance of the Houses of Parliament and we are a member of the APPC.

We are looking to recruit a Team and Marketing Assistant to join our team in London. A job description can be found below.

Key Responsibilities

  • To be an assistant to the Managing Director
  • To provide administrative support to the team
  • To provide full support on marketing activities

Main Tasks

General Office Duties

  • Meet and greet clients when they come to the office and supply them with refreshments
  • Ensure that the office/boardroom is prepared for client/new business meetings
  • Answer telephone calls and emails
  • Manage suppliers and ensure the office has the necessary equipment needed for client/new business pitches
  • Maintain filing and archiving systems
  • Co-ordinate meetings and organise catering
  • Receive and sort mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
  • Organise diary management and travel arrangements
  • Manage collection of expense and credit card receipts

Research

  • Undertake research into new business prospects
  • Provide research support to account teams when required

Editing

  • Edit work prepared by team members

Events

  • To fully support Managing Director in relation to all event coordination
  • Coordinate invitations and guest lists
  • Prepare research document on guests ahead of event
  • Liaise with venue e.g. booking, event menus and format
  • Maintain event attendees on database

Branding

  • Support Managing Director in the maintenance of all Brevia Consulting marketing collateral

Contacts Database

  • Maintain Salesforce database

Awards

  • Identify awards that Brevia could enter
  • Prepare collateral needed/complete application forms for award entries

Candidate Profile

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent organisational/administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Strong communication skills and a good telephone manner
  • Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as take instruction
  • Good IT skills desirable including competence with Salesforce and WordPress
  • Confident, friendly, and professional approach
