The main job purpose is to provide high-level strategic and policy support, advice and stakeholder management to the Mayoral Director, Policy.
To represent the Mayoral Director, Policy on relevant policy matters within the GLA and GLA Group and with external bodies as required. You will also lead the delivery of projects for the Mayoral Director, Policy, on behalf of the Mayor, working with GLA teams to ensure the priorities of the Mayor are delivered.
Lead, facilitate and co-ordinate effective working between the Mayoral Director, Policy and the rest of the GLA and GLA Group, so that the support and expertise available to the Deputy Mayor is effectively utilised and managed. You will have an expertise in at least two of the policy areas within the GLA’s remit.
This is a full time 2 year Fixed Term Contract role.
