Social Enterprise UK is the leading global authority on social enterprise and the biggest network of social enterprises in the UK.

We are offering a 12-week internship of 28 hrs/week with a stipend equivalent to the London Living Wage. There is some flexibility with regards to working hours, but ideally interns would work four days a week from 10am – 5pm.

Research Internship

SEUK have an established and extremely well-regarded policy & research function. Our policy work on behalf of the social enterprise sector has won us awards and recognition at the highest level and our research work has been replicated around the world. The State of Social Enterprise survey, now in its tenth year, is regarded as the foremost of its type in the world.

This internship is designed for candidates to gain experience and contribute to applied research and policy-making. Ideally, we are looking for someone with a background in, or demonstrable aptitude for, policy research and an interest in contributing to innovative policy solutions.

Skills and experience required:

• Degree or relevant experience
• Knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methods
• Ability to work on different tasks and in a fast-paced environment
• Good attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Keen to help develop innovative public policy ideas
• Interest in social enterprise
