Role:
In this role you will:
Lead and implement the organisations’ global research programme and lead the development of the advocacy and access work as part of their five-year strategy
Convene and facilitate research staff within member organisations globally to collaborate on research initiatives and projects
Build consensus and lead the membership in advocating for access to treatments and improved healthcare
Support senior management in strategic planning, governance, membership relations and external engagement
Lead and develop a small team.
Candidate:
Educated to doctoral level preferably in biomedical sciences, clinical practice or health policy development
Experience of developing and implementing strategy to influence and advocate for change (in policy, practice or behaviour) ideally in an international context
Confident, persuasive manner, able to inspire and mobilise colleagues and stakeholders on a global basis, motivate and develop staff and consultants (often remotely)
Experience of coordinating complex collaborative, multi-based projects across all aspects (planning, delivery, monitoring, evaluation and learning)
Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp scientific research and complex policies. Good communication skills, able to present research findings to a range of audiences.
