Job Details
Do you have extensive experience of working with MPs? Do you know the ins and outs of parliamentary procedure and how to make it work for a campaign? Do you want to make a real difference by making the world a safer place for future generations?
The Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament is looking for a new Parliamentary Officer to help drive forward CND’s latest campaigning initiatives by ensuring our voice is heard at the heart of Britain’s elected democratic structures.
CND campaigns non-violently to achieve nuclear disarmament in Britain and around the world. Now is a crucial time for CND. As the danger of nuclear war increases, CND fights for disarmament and peace.
Not only will the successful candidate be passionate about CND’s aims and objectives, they will have extensive experience of working in Parliament, in a constituency office, or representing a campaign in the parliamentary political context. They will be equally happy working within a team and working independently.
They will also be keen to join in the shared activities of our small but busy office – from short notice demonstrations to loading vans and making placards.
Closing Date: 18 June 2018
Interview/Start Dates
Interviews are currently scheduled for Tuesday, July 3rd. We would like the successful candidate to start as soon as possible.
