Duration: Fixed term contract for the period only that Rebecca Long-Bailey is the Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Political Advisor to the Shadow Secretary of State Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Rebecca Long-Bailey, in particular to support the development of Labour’s energy policy.

The post holder will provide policy research, support and analysis in the given policy area, to the Shadow Cabinet member, frontbench team and the Leader of the Labour Party, as part of the Policy directorate.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of energy policy, excellent organisational skills, experience of preparing written and verbal briefing materials and the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders.
