Your responsibilities:

• Designing and delivering campaigns to engage our users around the best policy reporting, opportunities and connections
• To support on the development of multimedia content such as audio, video and infographics
• Organising events and learning opportunities for policymakers around the world
• To conduct user research and user interviews into their experience of Apolitical and how we can best deliver them value
• Bespoke research for users into policy challenges
• Thinking deeply about how to deepen the connections between those in the Apolitical community
• Platform testing and ongoing feature audits that you’ll feed back to the engineering team
• Being a ‘front of house’ for the administration of the network and general work to support healthy systems

The right person will have:

• Meticulous attention-to-detail and organisation, as you will oversee our systems for engagement and several other projects
• Enthusiasm for learning new tools and frameworks, as you may own work which is new to you, such as UX research, A/B testing or community engagement
• Digital-savviness, as Apolitical is a tech company itself, but also uses several digital platforms and services in the course of its work
• A history of creating measurable goals and owning metrics, as we experiment on an ongoing basis to grow our community
• A disposition towards empathy and action, as you calmly address members’ needs quickly and creatively
• Patience and a love of hustle, everybody in a start up has to be open to hard work in an environment where time is of the essence!

We would also like it if:

• You speak another language
• You have a degree related to – or work experience in – government or the public sector. But this isn’t essential as long as you’re really interested in them!
