An organisation in the transport industry are looking for an up and coming communicator to create compelling content across a variety of platforms. The position is a permanent role paying £30,000 - £35,000 per annum based near Gatwick.

Main responsibilities

Act as an internal journalist for the organisation, sourcing engaging news stories to communicate to an audience of 1000 employees
Create compelling content to be delivered across a variety of internal communications channels- including intranet, newsletters, emails and events
Manage the annual communication schedule to effectively coordinate all communications activity
Collaborate with all colleagues across the communications function to integrate internal and external communication, leading on activity where required
Measure success of internal communications channels in order to prioritise future activity

Key skills and experience required

A minimum of 2 years professional experience in communications
Exceptional written skill to translate complex messages into compelling, easily digestible content
Excellent interpersonal skill to build relationships and influence colleagues at all levels of seniority
A proven track record of using communications measurement techniques, including email and web analytics
Strategic thinking and judgement to plan communications campaigns
