The Local Government Boundary Commission for England (LGBCE) is a public body, accountable directly to Parliament through a committee of MPS chaired by the Speaker of the House of Commons. Its purpose is to provide boundary arrangements for English local authorities that are fair and deliver electoral equality for voters and to keep the map of English local government in good repair. It does this by undertaking reviews of local authorities, each of which last approximately a year.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Information & Data Officer to join the Commission. We are looking for someone who can monitor, develop and maintain corporate and review information and data and develop statistical information for use in our review process. You will need to be organised and detail oriented with a good understanding of research methods and data analysis techniques. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a small organisation and is perfect for anyone with an interest in Local Government.
