Job Details
InFacts is looking to recruit a PR executive to help in its campaign to stop Brexit.
InFacts is a journalistic enterprise making the fact-based case against Brexit. It is also a founding member of the People’s Vote campaign, which is demanding that the public gets a vote on the final Brexit deal - with an option to stay in the EU if they don’t like it.
The public relations executive’s main responsibility will be to promote campaigners at InFacts and allied organisations who are not politicians. The campaign needs to develop more non-political spokespeople and get them airtime on TV and radio.
The successful candidate will be:
- Passionate about stopping Brexit
- Knowledgeable about the issue
- Experienced in selling people into TV and radio
- Creative in finding angles that will interest broadcasters
- High energy
- Unwilling to take “no” for an answer
- A self-starter
- Able to train people up to be camera-ready
This will be a short-term contract, based in Central London, lasting until end-November. Depending on political developments, there may be opportunities to extend it.
Closing Date: 10 June 2018
Interview/Start Dates
Candidates need to be able to start no later than July 2 and ideally earlier.
Interviews will be held in the week following the deadline.
