Job Details
Main Responsibilities:
• Receiving intelligence reports, disseminating information and identifying events that may impact Wilson James customers and operations
• Screening prioritising, grading and publishing security alerts into the command and control centre platform
• Advising stakeholders 24/7 about events that impact them
• Conducting short-term analysis on specific events and writing advisories
• Providing security advice for employees or customers intending to travel or already in locations around the world
• Scoping, proposing, planning and managing journey management tasks for employees and customers during international travel
• Checking, monitoring and escalating lone worker safety and welfare protocols
• Responding to emergency events to keep employees and customers safe, including if required lifesaving advice protocols
• Receiving employee absenteeism notifications and escalating response actions in accordance with Wilson James SOPs
• Monitoring customer electrical security systems and respond to security events that may impact them
• Ensure command and control centre information systems and applications are administrated correctly; to satisfy internal and external audits
• Ensure operational records and reports are completed correctly; to satisfy internal and external audits
• Ensure command and control centre SOPs remain current and relevant
• Proactively develop and maintain professional relationship with stakeholders, ensuring tasks are delivered within operational timeframes
Required Skills and Experience
Essential:
• An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to coordinate and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
• A proactive person with the ability to perform under pressure
• Excellent administration skills with a keen eye for detail
• Excellent computer skills, experience with MS office applications
• Interest in and good knowledge of current affairs
Other important features or requirements of the job
• Work a 12 hr shift of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off
• Annual Leave of 24 days x 8 hours = 192 hours annually
