Universities UK International (UUKi) is focusing its work to support universities to maintain excellence and reach through transnational education (TNE). We’re looking for a projects officer to work with us to shape major initiatives in key markets, and develop our intelligence reports and UK network to improve the evidence base for TNE.

You’ll be driven by making change happen, and interested in higher education and international policy. You’ll have the proven ability to deliver project tasks whilst understanding complex policy agendas and how they will impact on your work programme. Highly organised, you will be able to monitor progress across multiple projects and work well with colleagues both in UUK and externally. You will quickly develop familiarity with the TNE landscape and brief senior staff on the scale and potential of TNE relationships. This will involve working closely with policy team colleagues to monitor and report on developments in regulatory policy both in the UK and overseas, providing high quality advice to universities and policy agencies. You will coordinate support and advice to university managers, including oversight of topical workshops and seminars, and supporting the development of an expert group of TNE practitioners and leaders.

You’ll be joining at a pivotal time, as we initiate tailored TNE activities in focus markets. You will be part of UUKi’s Partnerships and Mobility team, reporting to the Head of Transnational Education and working closely with UUKi’s regional policy leads and external affairs team.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract, working full time, Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week.
