Kirstene Hair, MP for Angus, is seeking a full time Chief of Staff who will be based in her constituency office in Forfar.

The successful candidate will manage and lead her team who are based in the constituency office. Close liaison with the centrally employed Westminster team and linking in with parliamentary business will also be required. The Chief of Staff will cover a range of management tasks including the office budget, data protection and human resources. The position will oversee all team outputs such as research, campaigns and casework. They will be responsible for overall management of every aspect of the MP role including: communications (internal and external), drafting speeches and engagement with constituents, stakeholders and relevant organisations.

Experience of managing teams, project management and strong organisational skills are essential as is excellent political awareness, a can-do attitude and attention to detail.

Full-time or part-time considered. Salary in line with IPSA pay scales (£27,815 to £40,633) and commensurate with skills and experience.
