This role is responsible for proactively monitoring and operating Wilson James Command and Control Centre. The command and control centre comprises computer-based information management and communications systems for Wilson James operations support and emergency management. The role will monitor, disseminate, and process information within the command and control centre systems, and control information flow to the operational sites. Specifically, this will involve managing incident notification and emergency escalation procedures, lone working safety and welfare processes, staff absenteeism escalations, safety travel management, and managing the Intelligent Remote Monitoring service.
Main responsibilities:

  • Receiving intelligence reports, disseminating information and identifying events that may impact Wilson James customers and operations
  • Screening prioritising, grading and publishing security alerts into the command and control centre platform
  • Advising stakeholders 24/7 about events that impact them
  • Conducting short-term analysis on specific events and writing advisories
  • Providing security advice for employees or customers intending to travel or already in locations around the world
  • Scoping, proposing, planning and managing journey management tasks for employees and customers during international travel
  • Checking, monitoring and escalating lone worker safety and welfare protocols
  • Responding to emergency events to keep employees and customers safe, including if required lifesaving advice protocols
  • Monitoring customer electrical security systems and respond to security events that may impact them

  • Excellent administration skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Experience of responding to critical incidents
  • Second language
  • Intelligence analysis experience
  • Experience of Timegate and Track Tick
  • Experience of electrical security systems (access control, CCTV)
  • Current standards and practices used in security
