Permanent - Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
IPPR is looking for a talented researcher to join its Work and Welfare State programme. The Research Fellow will join a team of leading experts on public sector reform and skills. They will operate across a range of programmes, including IPPR’s flagship initiative on the future of the NHS and a new project on post-austerity public services.
The Research Fellow’s responsibilities will include: conducting high quality research and analysis; identifying policy recommendations; managing projects and developing research proposals.
The successful candidate will have a graduate level qualification or equivalent training and work experience related fields. They will possess good research and analysis skills and ideally a sound understanding of either health or employment and skills related policy issues with the ability to link analysis to current policy debates.
Quantitative research skills would be highly desirable. Their policy knowledge and research skills, will be complimented by excellent written communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage their workload to meet deadlines, and a clear commitment to the work and values of IPPR
