Overview of the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as Diary Manager to the Minister for Sport and Civil Society, within the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS).

The position will be a challenging yet rewarding role, working directly alongside Ministers and the wider Private Office, and stakeholders from within and outside the Department. The role will be fast paced, as you work to support the delivery of your Minister’s priorities, while managing a busy diary and other, competing interests or commitments. You will work across the breadth of the Minister's portfolio, including Sport; Civil Society; Gambling and Lotteries; and Loneliness.

The role will provide a valuable and unique insight into how Ministers work and how policy decisions are made, as well as understanding how the Department and wider Government operates. In addition to managing the diary, there will also be the opportunity to take on parts of the Minister's policy brief, including leading on Parliamentary work or supporting on Ministerial trips.

Requirements needed:
● You must be a highly organised and motivated individual, with the ability to deliver effectively under pressure and throughout long working hours.
● You must have strong inter-personal skills and the ability to interact confidently and professionally with stakeholders of varying seniority.
● You must be able to work effectively with your team, as you will work closely with them to deliver your shared goals.
● Successful candidates must pass basic security checks.
● Candidates will be subject to UK immigration requirements as well as Civil Service nationality rules.
