Overview
This new post sits within the team that supports the Archbishop’s work in the public sphere, across a wide and fascinating range of topics, from his role in Church and state relations, to his witness on issues of social justice.
The work is set in the context of the three priority areas of Archbishop Justin’s ministry, the three Quinquennium goals of the Church of England, and the five marks of mission of the Anglican Communion.
Policy and research on these areas are carried out by Mission and Public Affairs (MPA) department at Church House, so a crucial aspect of the role is coordination with colleagues in MPA.
Post Introduction
In this new and fascinating role, you will have the opportunity to provide research and organisational support to the Archbishop’s Social and Public Affairs Adviser who sits on the Senior Leadership Team at Lambeth Palace.
Your interesting and varied tasks will include drafting briefings and correspondence and assisting with the drafting of written material for use by the Archbishop and his Social and Public Affairs Adviser, providing high-quality research on a wide range of public policy issues.
