Job Title: Events and Public Affairs Coordinator
Working For: New Statesman
The Events and Public Affairs Coordinator is responsible for working with the Events Team to deliver the New Statesman's annual events programme. Events include but are not limited to; roundtables, fringes, public debates, breakfast briefings, party conference.
Events and Public Affairs Coordinator Responsibility:
You will liaise very closely on a day to day basis with the New Statesman Editorial and Sales Teams to ensure successful delivery of each event.
The role will primarily be responsible for the execution of the New Statesman events activity during Party Conference. You will be the first point of contact and therefore accurate coordination and the ability to project manage is accentual.
It is key for candidates to have a strong/rounded political knowledge, to be extremely organised, pro-active with a can do and solution orientated attitude.
