About the role
We are excited to be recruiting for a highly professional and self-motivated Policy and Public Affairs Executive with extensive experience in policy, public affairs or campaigns. You’ll develop effective and significant relationships with key stakeholders including the young people we support, their families and high-profile influencers and decision-makers.
You’ll maintain up to date knowledge on relevant public affairs development and work closely with the policy and Public Affairs Manager to shape and implement a public affairs strategy. You’ll be skilled at multi-tasking, with excellent influencing skills and have the ability to communicate technical information to a range of audiences keeping them fully engaged.
The Policy and Public Affairs Executive will work closely with the Policy and Public Affairs Manager on a range of initiatives across health, education policy and public affairs, engaging with national and regional political figures who can influence cancer policy that will ultimately lead to an improvement in services for teenagers and young adults with cancer and their families.
