The National Deaf Children’s Society is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people.

Are you passionate about the power of the media to change lives? Do you have a knack for finding interesting angles on stories and a strong track record of delivering impactful media campaigns? We are looking for someone with a sound knowledge of PR principles and practices to help us raise awareness of childhood deafness, drive forward our campaigns and motivate the public to support us.

You will work with a range of diverse teams across the charity to shape media relations strategies and plan and deliver integrated media and PR projects to a wide range of print, broadcast and digital media outlets. Your excellent communication skills, together with the ability to liaise with internal and external contacts, will make you an invaluable part of our media team. This is an exciting and challenging role and will suit someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a wider communications department.

Ideally you will have experience working within a charity, campaigning or political environment but we are open to applications from candidates with agency experience.
