About the role:

As External and Public Affairs Coordinator you will support the External and Public Affairs Lead in furthering the organisation’s Full-Time Social Action Campaign with key audiences. You will be responsible developing and maintaining relationships with political stakeholders through a proactive engagement process.

About you:

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Understanding of national government and a passion for keeping up with current affairs
- Demonstrable project management and research skills / experience
- Knowledge and understanding of education and youth policy is desirable
- Experience of working in a political, parliamentary or public affairs environment at any level is desired
- Experience of working with / engaging young people would be beneficial
- Degree level qualification or equivalent by experience in public / social policy, research or politics
- Knowledge of Google software / Microsoft Office
