Salary: £35,995.17 (gross) per annum, plus an annual fixed sum allowance of £1060

The post holders will provide factual research and analysis of political and government activity, working to deliver research materials, and providing factual written briefings for key stakeholders, including MPs and the media.

The successful candidate will have a clear interest in politics, good knowledge of the current political situation and exhibit excellent political judgement. They will have experience in undertaking political research, and have highly developed analytical skills. Additionally they will have the ability to write accurate briefing notes and show good attention to detail.

The Labour Party is seeking to recruit a Policy Development Coordinator to join our Policy team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling all administrative duties relating to Labour’s policy development work, to support our policy communications functions online and offline, and to provide general administrative support to the Policy and Research Team.

The successful candidate will have excellent administration skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to work proactively with a variety of stakeholders, and the ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
