This role is to provide high-quality administrative support to the Commission’s electoral reviews of local authorities across England. The Review Assistant will support the process by organising the production and distribution of consultation materials - including letters, emails and reports – to interested parties across the local authority area under review. In addition to organising consultation launches, the Review Assistant will maintain effective office systems: managing and updating the Commission website, logging and processing consultation submissions and responding to routine internal and external communication (including operating the switchboard phone). Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Communications, the Review Assistant will also play a role in wider corporate activity to help the Commission communicate effectively as well as assisting with any additional duties to support the running of a small government body.
