This well internationally respected university are looking for a new stakeholder and communications professional to come and join their team. Within this role you can look forward to working with a leading medical research department of the university and help to growth the engagement with organisations and with the public. You will be developing and managing key relationships with partner organisations, and work with researchers to ensure that opportunities for engagement are maximised and developed. You will be coordinating and managing the drafting of scientific and technical documents and reports within the research team. You will also be leading on the communications for the department, ensuring that the website is up to date and manage the annual programme of public engagement. You will be managing the social media platforms and liase with the press office to coordinate media activity.

The ideal candidate:

• Will be an experienced communications and stakeholder professional
• Have experienced in digital communications
• Will have experience working in a scientific/public health and academic environment
• Will be willing to travel internationally
