Job Details
This post will be responsible for assisting and advancing the education policy and youth engagement work of the Board of Deputies. This will include advocating for Jewish schools, pupils and teachers and engaging with issues facing Jewish students on campus. A key element of the role will be delivering on the new Board of Deputies’ President’s aspiration to improve engagement between the Board of Deputies and young people in the community. The post will include policy development, advocacy, research, administrative support and events management. It involves managing strategic relationships with key stakeholders from the education and youth sectors, including the Department for Education, Ofsted, Jewish and other schools, the Union of Jewish Students, University Jewish Chaplaincy, Jewish youth movements and other partners in the sector.
