The Corporate Affairs team manages easyJet’s relationship with policy makers across Europe and the company’s impact in society, such as through environmental and charitable projects.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join us on a 6month FTC as Corporate Affairs assistant. This is the ideal opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in public affairs & corporate responsibility.

The role is to work on to work on public affairs and corporate responsibility activities in the UK and across the rest of Europe.

• Political monitoring for the UK and the EU institutions.
• Research and briefing on public affairs and corporate responsibility issues.
• Responding to political and corporate responsibility enquiries.
• Organising public affairs meetings and events in the UK and Brussels.

What we are seeking:

• Some experience of working in a political, government or NGO environment (internships etc.)
• An understanding of the types of public policy and corporate responsibility issues that are relevant to easyJet.
• Researching and summarising information effectively.
• Building and managing relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Organised, conscientious and able to work independently on tasks.
