Job Details

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Mind’s work in Westminster, ensuring that the rights, needs and priorities of people with mental health problems are heard by Government and Parliament.

Mental health is receiving more political attention than ever before. The 2017-19 Parliament is of critical importance to Mind: the Prime Minister has made clear that mental health is a personal priority, the Government is undertaking a review of the Mental Health Act, a Private Member’s Bill on the use of force in mental health settings is making its way through Parliament, and the Five Year Forward View for Mental Health (the national plan for mental health) is being rolled out across England.

In this role, you will ensure that the current political will leads to lasting and tangible change on the ground. If you’ve got a great understanding of politics, a passion for campaigning, and a commitment to Mind’s mission and values, we want to hear from you!
