We're looking for a Marketing and Communications Officer to support delivery of communications activity for the Chartered College of Teaching (the professional body for teaching). As a key member of the team reporting to the Head of PR and Communications, you will work on the Chartered College’s external presence across media, social media, website and multi-channel PR campaigns to raise our profile and grow our membership base.

The Marketing and Communications Officer will be responsible for developing communication and marketing materials, while supporting PR activity for the Chartered College .

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the College’s PR and marketing campaigns
  • Support the Head of PR and Communications to manage the College’s social media accounts
  • Contribute to the College’s communications and marketing campaigns
  • Work with the Head of PR and Communications to research, write and distribute media releases
  • Write web copy, manage the updating of the College’s website, and ensure the website is SEO optimised
  • Coordinate lead generation campaigns across the College’s website, social media channels and partner organisations
  • Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. direct mail and digital)
  • Distribute marketing materials to the College’s members and advocates, through digital and print campaigns
