This role is an opportunity to forge a career in sales and business development; you will be trained by industry experts and receive  lots of coaching in order to help you drive engagement with prospects and new markets. It doesn't requite prior sales experience, but some customer service or sales experience would be a plus. Focus will be on new business, with accountability for developing a network of prospects and securing meetings for Dods' Business Development Managers and Key Account Managers to talk to potential clients about Dods' market-leading political monitoring and reputational intelligence services.

This successful individual will be goal orientated and comfortable working within a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. They should possess excellent communication skills (telephone, face-to-face) for both internal networking and, potentially, client-facing activity. Above all, this person should be passionate and driven to succeed.

KEY SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Highly self-motivated and energetic individual, who builds strong relationships quickly
  • Great negotiation and communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the changing market, our customers and the business
  • Good levels of IT literacy are expected
  • Understanding and/or interest in corporate communications, political and policy processes, knowledge of the Westminster environment and politically active companies would be an advantage but not essential as in-house training provided.
