The Labour Party is seeking to recruit to the new post of Campaigns Officer – Data & Systems to work in the Data & Targeting Directorate in our London Head Office.

Reporting to the Targeting Systems Manager, the post holder will ensure that Labour’s targeted campaigning technology systems are kept up to date, with current electoral data, accurate geography, and relevant selections and reports, so as to best support Labour campaigners across Britain. They will work to ensure users are getting the best out of our systems and will be part of a team working to ensure the success of the campaign technology we use to deliver the organisational strategies we need to win the next election. The post holder’s duties will also include providing occasional support to the Campaign Technology helpdesk.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in political campaigning and a knowledge how data can support this; a good knowledge of Labour Party campaign technology such as Contact Creator; have either experience of using R, Python, or SQL or a demonstrated ability to pick up new computer skills quickly; and will be adept at explaining complex technical issues to others over the phone.
